随心飞扬

今天是2010年高考的最后一天，还有不到一个小时今年的高考就要结束了。考试结束，学生回家，今天中午终于可以睡个安稳觉了，印象中可能在过去的三年中还没有好好地睡过午觉。我这个人就是这样，早上早起没有关系，可是不能好好地睡午觉我就会感觉特别难过，还会影响到第二天的工作。虽然在高考成绩出来之前，作为班主任的我，和学生一样紧张，真心希望学生都能考上自己理想中的大学，但是，毕业了，高考结束了，这心里面总是少了一份牵挂，少了一份担忧。

My daughter is almost three years old and now she has been attending a local kindergarten, or say, a nursery school, for a couple of months. From what she says and does, I can surely see she has learned a great deal from school. But still, as a kid, she has a long way to go. Also, she has changed a lot since she was a baby both in appearance and character. We have shot lots of photos, but this is my favorite one taken when she was only three months old. What a lovely and cute angel!

The College Entrance Exam is drawing near and everyone seems to be waiting for it. Some students are eagerly expecting their summer vacation to come just for the carefree days afterwards while most have to bear the great pressure put on them for a better chance to attend a better university. I have been constantly reminding them that the best thing they can do now is try every means to reduce their worries and nervousness. With less than ten days, there is not much they can do with their study. Every time I see my fellow students seated in the classroom involved in their study, I feel conflicted. I feel happy for the efforts they have made and meanwhile sorry for the current educational system. They have sacrificed the best part of their life  just for the access to a better university.  I know most of them have tried their best to be good students and to gain better chance, but there is something that they cannot control, like the coming result. No one can be sure what they will get until the result comes out. We often say "Nothing is impossible", but there are so many cases where we try to achieve something, but eventually we get nothing, apart from the so-called experience. So, for the coming exams, we shouldn't expect too much from our students. After all, attending a university is just one of the many ways to achieve our dreams. Anyway, regardless of the result, let's hope for the better.
